Great Skiing in West Yellowstone

Strangely enough today was actually Day 5 at altitude and Day 4 on snow for the winter and this is the first time I have posted pictures. We left Hayward last Thursday and made it into West with enough daylight for an easy evening ski. Today was the first day of intervals and they were awesome.

The workout this morning went really well. I have found that Day 5 at altitude is usually a good one for me. Combined with my first day out on this years Salomons, fresh PB tracks and sunny skies. Karl and I did 5*10 L3 skate intervals on Deja View. We were going pretty hard but had a hard time producing lactic acid. Best of all each interval was progressively faster.
